Our goals are to introduce folkstyle wrestling (used in high school and college) to junior high age student/athletes and promote the values learned through our sport.

During the wrestling season, your son or daughter will learn a great deal about the art of wrestling. They will learn how to maintain balance while moving forwards, backwards, and sideways. They will learn how to setup, execute, and finish moves. They will learn techniques and strategies that will help win matches. They will improve their coordination, increase endurance, and become stronger.

To be a good wrestler, an athlete must not only be physically tough, but mentally tough. During a match, a wrestler cannot rely on anything or anyone else; it is just one-on-one. The skills and self-discipline that wrestlers develop through wrestling will be invaluable in the years to come.
