Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance:
Students, please stay in the designated eating areas with food. These areas are the cafeteria and blue tables. Any type of food or beverage (other than water) is not allowed outside those two areas. Disciplinary actions will be taken if you do not adhere to this rule.
Teachers: The bells are correct today. You will notice a difference in only a couple of minutes from the old schedule. A new schedule will be e-mailed to you this morning.
Attention wrestlers, all wrestlers need to meet Coach Ferguson in the gym Friday morning (that’s tomorrow) before school. We will be putting the wrestling mats out in the wrestling room and we need everyone’s help. Come to Coach Ferguson’s room or the gym when you get to school tomorrow.
Attention softball players, softball tryouts will start in February. If you do not have a sports packet filled out, see Mr. Ferguson. If you are interested in playing softball, check in with Ms. Wray in room 101.
Teachers, please remember to release the 6th, 7th and 8th girl’s basketball team members to participate in both rallies today - please see your rally schedule.
The Reptile Education Club will meet today in Rm. 503 from 3:05-4:00 pm.
Tomorrow is Holiday Whobilations Day! Wear your Santa Hats and holiday scarves. T-shirts/sweatshirts with holiday logos are okay but no plain red or green shirts. School appropriate holiday logos only. The rest of dress code applies. It's almost winter break!!!! Yippeeeee!!!
If you received a letter for winter school, the class lists are posted in the shadow box next to room 208. Remember, winter school starts on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 8 AM and finishes on Friday, January 16, 2009 at noon.”
Santa Grams are on sale now! For just $2.00, you can send a message and a little present to your friends at school. Sales are in the mornings out on the quad. Santa Grams will be delivered on 12/19.
The lost and found will be cleared out today. If you have lost any article of clothing please check the lost and found before then.
Time is running out . . . have you ordered your 2009 Cat's Tale Yearbook yet? The price is $43.00 and sales last until the end of January - but remember that four weeks of that time is vacation! Need help talking your parents into getting you your yearbook? Let them know that they can order online using a credit card at salidamiddleschool.com OR they can send in a $20.00 deposit to reserve a book for you; the balance isn't due until the spring. Look for the Cat's Tale Yearbook staff out on Wednesday mornings for ordering your book OR you can bring your order to Ms. Peterson in Rm. 503.
There will not be a 5:00 bus today or tomorrow. Please plan accordingly.
