Good morning Wildcats!!!

I’m your host Mrs. Kettering.

And I’m your co-host Sam. Today is Thursday, March 4th, 2010.  This IS the Khaki and Blue Review.

This week is brought to you by the letter Q!  Today at lunch, you can play the QUARTERBACK Game . . .  how far can you throw the football?  Prizes will be awarded!  Tomorrow during lunch, come out and play QUIET ball . . .  prizes again will be given!  Also this week: Ask QUESTIONS in class! Be QUIET when you are supposed to be QUIET!

Look around campus and make a list of any items you find that begin with Q.  Turn in your list to room 503 before the end of the day on Friday.  Appropriate Q items only! Prizes and SpiritQuest points awarded.

Attention 6th Grade students—all chocolate money MUST be turned in tomorrow.  Money can be turned in each morning before school in the student store.  AVOID going on the UNSAT list—turn in all money!  If you have questions, please see Cary in the student store of in the front office.    

March 1st through the 5th is National Return Your Overdue Book Month.  All returns will receive raffle tickets.  Books returned on time will receive 2 tickets and books returned that are overdue will receive 1 ticket.  This is your chance to win a certificate for the upcoming book fair during Open House!  There will also be some certificates for Cold Stone Creamery.  Please take part in this event!

Attention softball players—we will meet after school in room107 unless you hear otherwise.  The Perkins field is not available at this moment.  If this changes later in the day we will plan on having practice at Perkins.  If practice is cancelled we still plan to have pitchers and catchers get some work in.  So, all pitchers and potential catchers plan to stay either way.  If you have been absent and still plan to play for varsity or JV you need to see Mr. Costin today! Also, tomorrow please bring your jerseys.  Those who did not get a jersey, please see Mr. Costin during your lunch break in room 107.

If there are any students who will be attending Davis High School next year and would like to try out for cheerleading you can pick up the tryout packet in the front office.

Reptile Club will only meet tomorrow and it will be a general meeting - we can't meet today due to getting ready for the Salida Stars talent show.  See you tomorrow in room 503.

Big News Wildcats!!!!! The Cat's Tale Yearbook staff has found out that Josten's ordered more yearbooks for us to sell!  You can bring $38 and your order form to room 503 to get yours ordered.  We can only sell about 50 books, so get in on it QUICK!!!!!

Students please remember!  Always wear a helmet when riding your bike, skateboarding, or rollerblading.  Be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to what you are doing. 

Students - don’t forget to vote for that staff member who has helped you out in some way.  Vote for them on your Go for the Gold ballots and submit them to the office!
