Remember, winter school starts on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 8 AM and finishes on Friday, January 16, 2009 at noon.” Great job, Wildcats! You brought in a total of 792 Box Tops last week! Keep bringing them in to your 1st period teacher! Congratulations to Mrs. Wray’s 1st period 6th grade class for bringing in the most Box Top sheets. Enjoy your hot chocolate and donuts this morning! They brought in a total of 25 completed sheets! Mr. Iafrate was in second place with 9 box top sheets completed. Keep collecting! The chess/game club will meet this Thursday during period 4 in Mrs. Carlson’s room. We are having the Connect Four Tournament. Ag & Nature Club will be meeting tomorrow for yearbook pictures. Bring your lunch to room 404 ASAP. See you tomorrow Attention all basketball players, you must have a sports packet turned in today to tryout for the teams. If you don't have one turned in you will miss tryouts. Attention wrestlers, tonight is the wrestling meeting at 7pm in the cafeteria. You need to be at the meeting. See Mr. Ferguson or your teacher for the blue flyer. Reminder all 7th & 8th grade girl’s basketball players, please return your basketball uniforms to Mr. Ferguson by tomorrow, December 17th. Kidswork will not have puppet meetings on December 16th and 17th . Puppet practice will start up again after winter break. Santa Grams are on sale now! For just $2.00, you can send a message and a little present to your friends at school. Sales are in the mornings out on the quad. Santa Grams will be delivered on 12/19. Anyone interested in participating in Science Olympiad, please remember to come to room 403 today before going to lunch. Bring your signed permission slip with you. The lost and found will be cleared out on Thursday Dec. 18. If you have lost any article of clothing please check the lost and found before then. Time is running out . . . have you ordered your 2009 Cat's Tale Yearbook yet? The price is $43.00 and sales last until the end of January - but remember that four weeks of that time is vacation! Need help talking your parents into getting you your yearbook? Let them know that they can order online using a credit card at salidamiddleschool.com OR they can send in a $20.00 deposit to reserve a book for you; the balance isn't due until the spring. Look for the Cat's Tale Yearbook staff out on Wednesday mornings for ordering your book OR you can bring your order to Ms. Peterson in Rm. 503. The canned food drive ends tomorrow. Please bring in some canned food and help Youth Act help the need families in Salida. Please don’t forget! Toys for Tots has dropped off their toy collection barrel for needy children. The barrel is located in the office. Please help us collect new unwrapped toys for needy children. Students: If you miss the bus at 3:05 you may not ride the after school activity bus unless you are involved in sports, Aspire, or an after school class Do not stay on campus after school!
