PHYSICAL
EDUCATION
The
state law of California requires that all students take physical
education as a regular part of their school program. Students
are required to dress out and participate on a daily basis in
the P.E. classes.
Students
are excused from P.E. with a physician's statement only.
Parent's
can excuse their child from participation in P.E. for up to three
(3) days, but the student is still required to dress out.
All
students are assigned a P.E. locker.
A
complete set of physical education guidelines is given to each
student by the P.E. department. The guidelines cover kinds of
acceptable P.E. clothes, shoes, medical excuses, etc.
All
students are required to keep a P.E. notebook, which will include
the P.E. guidelines.
P.E.
clothes and P.E. Notebooks can be purchased through the
Student Store.
