Classroom Rules
1. All School rules are strictly enforced in the classroom, especially
" Be on time
" Be prepared with writing tools at all times
" No gum, candy, or food
" Bottled water is okay as long as it doesn't create a problem. Never share your bottle
" Always raise your hand and ask permission before leaving your assigned seat
" A bathroom pass will be issued for emergencies. Sign-out sheet is posted near the door
2. Consequences are clearly posted in the classroom
School Work
Our reading program is direct instruction. All work is completed during the class period; this means homework is seldom assigned. We use SRA Corrective Reading, Read Naturally (timed reading), and Accelerated Reader.
This also means that your daily attendance is very important. Your grade is based upon the daily points you receive during class time. Only a small portion of the missed work can be made up. See me upon your return to school to make special arrangements for missed work.
Extra credit is not possible in this class.
